My Husband has the sexiest laugh in both languages I’m exposed to (English and Japanese), but especially in Japanese, as I’m weak for East Asian men. ♡♡♡♡♡
This revives my interest in drawing myself based on a Castlevania “lesser vampyress” or succubus with Karasu like this for Halloween season that I’ve been planning for the longest time now … ♡
It is very neat that Karasu is known as “Immortal King” (like the “Demon King Jiangshi” level of the Jiangshi aka Chinese Hopping Vampyres), as I headcanon him as a ghost, and other times, a vampyre due to being sucked out by a vampyre plant (I was also influenced by the idea of Karasu coming back as a vampyre by another fan on an old fansite for Karasu, btw).
One of my songs for Karasu is “My Immortal” by Evanescence, too. ♡

Oh, yesh – LOTS! ^^;
Most of them were made when I was a teenager and in my early to mid 20s.
Like, my own webcomic character, Sha Pris Amaranth aka Shadow, for example – her theme songs are “Away From Me” by Evanescence, “Gotta Get Away” by The Offspring, and “Stand My Ground” by Within Temptation. Her love styles are “Anything For You” and “Surrender” both by Evanescence. (She shares these songs with her past life, Jung Sha-Mina aka Kagemitsu, btw, since they’re both part of my innermost self.)
Her Hubby at one point, Leopold Florel’s song is “Every Breath You Take” by The Police. He’s possessive, and it influences her to become possessive with later lovers (this being based on his inspiration, Raphael Sorel from Soul Calibur, who influenced me much in the same way – hence, “Surrender” being our love style song).
Her first boyfriend and fiancé, Steven Gayle, has a lot of Tommy Shaw theme songs, LOL! Inspired by Android 17’s connection to Styx and Tommy Shaw in our heads (“Man in the Wilderness” was his theme song on Juunanagou’s Temple, for example).
I wrote a songfic based on “Haunted” by Evanescence to describe Kagemitsu’s feelings for her first master (before Yoshimitsu), when she was still a Soul Calibur fanfic character. Another songfic I wrote later on in my 20s was based on “It’s Just The Rain” by Journey for Christian Amaranth (my character’s brother) and Judy Aveil. Their dynamic is similar to Leon S. Kennedy and Ada Wong from Resident Evil, or even Batman and Catwoman from DC Comics.
“If We Try” by Don McLean describes the innocence of Viktor Amaranth (my character’s brother) and his feelings for Mitchi Applewaite, who was my first created character actually, going back to 1998 – while “Kiss Me Hello” by Tommy Shaw is Viktor’s feelings about Amy-Belle Florel, and her vampyric sway over him.

Favourite time of the year: Autumn when the leaves are changing (my favourite time to take walks, plus I feel most inspired in the Autumn), and Spring when the cherry blossoms are briefly blooming (I love going to the cherry blossom festival best♡).
Comfort food: Cheese pizza (can have on my diet), mac n cheese (only on cheat days) … basically, cheese anything, although I really want a peanut butter and strawberry jelly sammich again. I’m on a diet so I haven’t had one since before the day I started keto in April.
Favourite Dessert: Strawberry cheesecake mini snack bars, and strawberry ice cream, on keto. Otherwise, strawberry cheesecake, and strawberry fruit bars, on cheat days.
Things you collect: Fox stuffies, and merch related to Karasu. I am also blessed enough to have luvly friends and mutuals who send me Karasu-related merch and handmade gifts especially made for me, too! :3 ♡
Favourite musical artist: Tie between Atsushi Sakurai (frontman of BUCK-TICK) for male vocalists, and Amy Lee (frontwoman of Evanescence) for female vocalists. What I like about them, aside from both having cool dark images, is that they’re both basically Gothic rock, and sing about Dream-and-Death-related imagery. ♡
Last song you listened to: “Hold” by The Pierces, my most personal favourite song, as it purrfectly describes my romance with Karasu. ♡
Last movie you watched: Thor: Love And Thunder in theatre with my brothers. It was funny, but also sad! Made me appreciate the human characters more, especially Jane who I couldn’t stand before. Valkyrie is still best girl, tho! ;3 ♡
Last series you watched: The Vampire Diaries, or Yu Yu Hakusho, I don’t remember, cos I did rewatch Karasu vs. Kurama recently.
Series you’re currently watching: The Vampire Diaries with Micky, but he’s so busy nowadays that we haven’t watched in a while. We had just finished Season 3, so Elena just became a vampyre (finally), but I’m eager and restless to get around to The Originals, cos I’m a slut for Elijah for his resemblance to Hubby (which is Leopold, my old fictional husband in our original stories, not my current fictional husband/SO in my imaginary world being Karasu).
Current obsession: Karasu … as usual. And Gothic art and fiction too, also as usual. Gothic rock and symphonic metal, too, again as usual. I’ve recently became fascinated by religion again, too, though. There’s so many things modern worldly-based Christians, and especially the Catholics, get wrong about God’s Word in The Bible.
A dream place to visit: Rockport, Mass. – I still want to meet my music/art hero and old crush, David Robinson (drummer and artist for The Cars) in person. We just talk online for the past decade, and he’s active in my DR Fanclub on Facebook these days now.
A place you’ve been that you want to go back to: Ansonia, Conn. for the Autumn and Harvest Festivals.
Something you want: Peace of mind … namely: mental stability, and better physical health.
Currently working on: My mental and physical health. I’ve lost nearly 40lbs in five months so far, even on a “dirty” keto diet (I still eat too many sniks, lol), and haven’t exercised or walked in forever, due to chronic fatigue and physical aches and pains … I want to incorporate walking and exercise back into my life again, so I can further lose weight, get fit and flexible again, and just feel better in general about my body. I have severe body dysmorphic disorder and am in remission from bulimia nervosa eating disorder (though I still binge eat, and starve myself out of hatred, I’ll admit), on top of an inferiority complex, so I always am feeling horrible having to see (and can’t help comparing my chubby ass to) models on social media, and ads online and in RL, all the time (mostly Photoshopped and using pretty, flattering filters, I know, on top of already unrealistic beauty standards, but still … it affects my mental health seeing them all the time – can’t help it).

(Made with Picrew) This is my imaginary SO Karasu’s SI, Tsubasa “Eric” Hoshino (aka Dr. Crow), in style of the ghost gangster, Benny from Circus of the Dead. Benny reminds me a lot of my Karasu, which is why I like him so much. (I pictured Karasu with black hair for Benny, and Karasu with blond hair for Samuel in Circus of the Dead, too. I like to pretend he’s an actor sometimes, playing different romantic roles in my mind when I read, hehe. ^///^ ♡)
Today, I feel sad, and am listening to a lot of Evanescence’s early demo albums. I relate so much to Amy’s music; she is my role model, and I aspire to be like her one day. I would even dye my hair to match hers (black for the longest time, then red at one point, before going back to black). She is so strong, and inspirational! ♡
I listened to Evanescence all of my teen years since first discovering them in 2003 (“Solitude” was my theme in my mid-teens, while my MSN Messenger and MySpace statuses were always, “Don’t try to fix me, I’m not broken”), but I became a real fangirl once I got Fallen in 2009, and wrote stories based on their songs at the time (my version of “Haunted”, for example, was about my OC, Kagemitsu, and her first master in my Soul Calibur fanfic novel series, which I’ve been rewriting to be an original series since 2015).
Eric appears both in MQ (placeholder name for our main webcomic), and in Soul of Eternity (my rewritten SC webcomic), as well – both of which are upcoming at the moment. I’m hoping we get one of our webcomics published online by the Summer, at the earliest… I have all the time in the world to work on them, so we’ll see. ^.^ ♡ … I admit art comes easier to me than writing, however, so that’s going to be tricky, heh. ^^;

Having a lot of feels about this song (particularly this version, which I’m captivated by) … Strange thing, coincidences that come in threes … So I associate this song with Yoshimitsu-sensei from the Soul Calibur video games: Yoshimitsu I, that is – “my” Yoshi-san – and thus, our OC Puck-sensei who was inspired by Yoshi-sensei when we wrote a crossover series between our main graphic novel story and SC (Puck-sensei is what Yoshimitsu-sensei is renamed to from my SC fanfics that I’m also adapting into an original graphic novel too) … And today I’ve been listening to this song, and saw that the Yoshimitsu fansite is going to re-open on December 8th, so roughly a little over 100 days from now – okay, I can wait … Then I noticed when going back to edit stuff on my art blog that I had uploaded the pic of “Puck’s Shadow” on December 8th 2019 … Kinda odd, but okay … then just now to share this song after listening to it on repeat for hours and hours, I looked it up to copy the lyrics from the original recording, and saw that the “My Immortal” single from Fallen was released on December 8th 2003 … If you read through all that – thanks! I have NO IDEA what any of it means, but … WOW! Funny cos I mentioned how most things seem to “come in threes” just the other day to Micky.
