Most of them were made when I was a teenager and in my early to mid 20s.
Like, my own webcomic character, Sha Pris Amaranth aka Shadow, for example – her theme songs are “Away From Me” by Evanescence, “Gotta Get Away” by The Offspring, and “Stand My Ground” by Within Temptation. Her love styles are “Anything For You” and “Surrender” both by Evanescence. (She shares these songs with her past life, Jung Sha-Mina aka Kagemitsu, btw, since they’re both part of my innermost self.)
Her Hubby at one point, Leopold Florel’s song is “Every Breath You Take” by The Police. He’s possessive, and it influences her to become possessive with later lovers (this being based on his inspiration, Raphael Sorel from Soul Calibur, who influenced me much in the same way – hence, “Surrender” being our love style song).
Her first boyfriend and fiancé, Steven Gayle, has a lot of Tommy Shaw theme songs, LOL! Inspired by Android 17’s connection to Styx and Tommy Shaw in our heads (“Man in the Wilderness” was his theme song on Juunanagou’s Temple, for example).
I wrote a songfic based on “Haunted” by Evanescence to describe Kagemitsu’s feelings for her first master (before Yoshimitsu), when she was still a Soul Calibur fanfic character. Another songfic I wrote later on in my 20s was based on “It’s Just The Rain” by Journey for Christian Amaranth (my character’s brother) and Judy Aveil. Their dynamic is similar to Leon S. Kennedy and Ada Wong from Resident Evil, or even Batman and Catwoman from DC Comics.
“If We Try” by Don McLean describes the innocence of Viktor Amaranth (my character’s brother) and his feelings for Mitchi Applewaite, who was my first created character actually, going back to 1998 – while “Kiss Me Hello” by Tommy Shaw is Viktor’s feelings about Amy-Belle Florel, and her vampyric sway over him.

Amy-Belle is a centuries old vampyress, first appearing in The Stars Are Out Tonight, while Viktor is the Death Keeper and Autumn Warrior of the Wood Islands in MQ where he meets Amy-Belle.

Larger cities have magical protection from the debris, but less populated areas are subject to danger and damage from the falling chunks of metal and space rocks. Many of these remnants are charged with incredibly powerful magic left over from the cataclysm, and treasure hunters both brave and foolish scour the planet for the priceless salvage during the meteor shower. Show your character during the meteor shower. Are they watching from the safety of a city in the twilight band? Are they out hunting for magic-imbued scraps? Your piece must include your character and a meteor shower on the twilight world.”

I saw my good friend, Alexa, was open for art commissions on Twitter, and decided to commission her to draw my SI, Sha, and my fictional stepdaughter, Amy-Belle. I’m very happy with them! Alexa has an unique and gorgeous art style, as well as is an absolute doll to work with. =^w^= 💚
(This is actually my first time commissioning someone to do artwork for me, before this has just been art requests and trades, etc.)

I put this together three years ago (September 5th, 2018 according to properties) … My brothers are right – my artwork looked much better in the past, before my depressive psychosis fully developed, and I lost concentration on the simplest of tasks. I just need to discipline myself to make more art, and actually spend more time on each art piece as well, instead of doing everything at the deadline, or in a couple of hours before I can’t focus anymore. 😅

I’ve been rearranging the apartment, since I realised I have a lot of space in my room (technically a large walk-in closet), so I have been taking my boxes of old stuff from the hallway, and putting them into my room.
Naturally, I’ve been going thru some of the boxes as I do so, and was happy to rediscover my art book from 2015-2016 (when we resided at the Victorian mansion), which I thought was lost forever! I was so grateful to find it – tysm, God! 🙇🏻♀️🙏🏻😇
I also found a very large sketchbook with this trio inside its pages; what’s so special, as well as rare, about this is, all three of us drew this together – I drew Carnation, Micky @octobernocturne drew Amy, and Rob @timewillcrawl94 drew Leopold! 👩🏻🎨👨🏼🎨👨🏻🎨
They’re in Curse of the Mysic Sword, a Gothic novel we’ve been writing since Autumn, 2006. Carnation is an independent woman, ever at odds with Leopold, who – unbeknownst to her – is a vampyre, as is his adopted daughter, Amy. 🌹🥀🦇🥀🌹

So the sketch comes from my 2016 sketchbook based on a photo-manip of Emilie Autumn and Amy Lee from Evanescence (my role model), and was coloured in Clip Studio Paint Pro with final touches done in Adobe Photoshop Elements 5.0 at Micky’s suggestion I don’t be afraid to “go darker with the shadows” – I used to use this ‘technique’ in Photoshop when I did my gothic inspired artwork in 2009, then from 2010 onwards I had gone for more of a ‘pastel look’ . . . think I wanna go back to the gothic look, as our stories are dark in nature as gothic novels are. So thankyou very much, Micky! :3 💖
You step onto the balcony, careful not to trip over the mess of wires running across the floor.
Not one single person arrived to greet you when you first came through the portal. You haven’t seen a soul for hours. Everything seems to be in working order– computers humming away and all the lights on. If this place was abandoned, it was abandoned recently.
You look out through the viewing window.
It takes you a long moment to decipher what you’re seeing.
Electricity crackles across a massive form, stasis keeping it captive and half suspended in midair. It hardly fits in the multistory room it’s enclosed in. You can’t even tell how they got it in there in the first place.
Then its eye opens.
One word draws out of the creature’s mouth, low and echoing. It vibrates through you as if it wasn’t only just sound.
It’s your name.

This is Amy with an alien inspired by David Bowie’s “Ashes to Ashes” music video for PaperDemon’s art RPG Halloween challenge.
Tbh I drew this for deviantART’s Magic Week; Monday’s prompt was an art tutorial on drawing fire, so I was inspired by that, as well as decided I’ll draw our OC Amy using magic for PaperDemon’s OC-tober prompt, “Your OC casting a spell or using magic”.
I used a combination of Clip Studio Paint Pro {which keeps crashing on me…} and Adobe Photoshop Elements 5.0 {which I resort to cos the other one keeps crashing on me…} – the background is a preset bg from Clip Studio Paint Pro.

Amy’s latent element for the PaperDemon art RPG is fire, as she was taught by Micky who is also a fire magician – she feels empowered being able to use magic, and loves spending time with her mentor who she loves deeply. {I’m also entering this in OC-tober on PaperDemon for the prompt, “Your OC with another OC”.} 🔥
I used a combination of Clip Studio Paint and Adobe Photoshop Elements 5.0 to work on this illustration; the background comes from Clip Studio Paint’s preset backgrounds. 🎨
The title “Eternal Flame” comes from a song that was featured in our new favourite show Lucifer, as sang by Tom Ellis, originally by The Bangles. 🔥😈

I meant to put this together before the recent trend on Twitter where you put together the first and latest drawings of your OC – just happens to be one of those fate things where it works out anyways! ;P
I’m surprised Amy started off with dark eyes, I always remembered her with green eyes! The first drawing of her was for Mystic Travels, which was later renamed Curse of the Mystic Sword, and the latest drawing of her was for PaperDemon’s art RPG, where I’m roleplaying as Amy in various challenges and exploring worlds. =^.^= 💜
This is Amy, I am entering her in PaperDemon’s art RPG. Here are her stats, and bio:
Character Name: Amy Belle Florel.
Character Age: 13-16 physically.
Character Species: Vampyress.
Hair colour: Pale rose red.
Eye colour: Emerald green.
Amy was born to Marie and Sebastian Belle, with a twin sister named Emily. Both her parents and Emily died from the flu when she was very young. Amy was then adopted by Leopold Florel, and raised as his own daughter. Sometime in her early teen years, Leopold was infected with vampyrism which he passed onto Amy, forever changing her. Leopold became even more protective of Amy after their transformation; thus, Amy has lived somewhat of a sheltered life. Amy had a mother figure named Doctor Carnation Lily, who adopted Amy after Leopold’s supposed “death” – when Leopold returned from the grave, a strange dynamic and rivalry began between her two adoptive parents; who both loved Amy, and both practiced medicine. Amy appears in several of our graphic novel webcomics, and will be making her debut within the next couple of years. Until then, Amy has begun her own adventure in the PaperDemon universe!

Le Jour De Père Heureux!♡
This is Amy, and her father Léopold. They are both in the story we’re currently writing, and should be published by next Autumn. . . For real, as I know we’ve said it so many times before. 
So, the sketch for this was done upon Father’s Day, and I wrote a short story to go along with it, however, it isn’t posted because of a couple spoilers contained within the story. 
My Mom read the short story, and she really liked it. 
That made me happy, because I’m actually very shy and insecure about sharing my writings . . . I prefer to write with my siblings, and close friend, really.
I only recently coloured this, and followed an old tutorial by an artist I admire . . . It was very nice to be able to try another method, and I find this way, I colour more quickly, which is very good for character illustrations, and pages, as my more-usual style of painting takes forever.
So I’m glad for this method.
A pretty portrait I did of Amy in 2014, just to get back into painting again. 🙂
This is for PaperDemon’s Pride Flag colour challenge; the eighth prompt is, “Violet / Spirit”. I wasn’t sure what to draw, until OctoberNocturne said I should draw Amy for violet! So this is dedicated to Mikau dude, who says he’s in love when I sent this to him! =^^= 💜
