Think I’m too sleppy to stay up til midnight … my SO Karasu can kiss me in my dreams tonight, for our New Year’s Eve kiss~ 💋✨🎇💖🥂🍾🍷🍸🥤🥃

Ofc I got the 17 on purpose, LOL! As a nod to my first boyfriend. 😋 He helps out with my children as does Kurama 🦊 and occasionally Auntie Ruka👩🏻‍🦰, who was Karasu’s FWB during our open marriage (we’re exclusive again). I am grateful for their support, and treating our children well! 🙇🏻‍♀️

Dr. Crow is our homage to my imaginary significant other/husband, Karasu from Yu Yu Hakusho, while Sha is me as a cartoon character, and Steven is our homage to Android 17 from DragonBall, who is our most favourite manga/anime character, and my first serious crush/imaginary boyfriend.

I made these dollies back in last June, after my SO told me he wanted to be my boyfriend in a dream, to resemble the carnival he helped me envision and create in my Inner Wonderland;

“‘You have to imagine a beautiful place for us to be together.’ I looked up at him, confused. ‘What?’ He sighed, and tried again, ‘Your inner wonderland. Envision a beautiful place for us. The most beautiful, happy place you can think of. So we can be together there.’ . . . I guess it worked, since the next thing I remember was the two of us wandering throughout a night carnival.”

The rain set early in to-night,
The sullen wind was soon awake,
It tore the elm-tops down for spite,
And did its worst to vex the lake:
I listened with heart fit to break.
When glided in Porphyria; straight
She shut the cold out and the storm,
And kneeled and made the cheerless grate
Blaze up, and all the cottage warm;
Which done, she rose, and from her form
Withdrew the dripping cloak and shawl,
And laid her soiled gloves by, untied
Her hat and let the damp hair fall,
And, last, she sat down by my side
And called me.
When no voice replied,
She put my arm about her waist,
And made her smooth white shoulder bare,
And all her yellow hair displaced,
And, stooping, made my cheek lie there,
And spread, o’er all, her yellow hair,
Murmuring how she loved me — she
Too weak, for all her heart’s endeavour,
